Changampuzha Park is known for its cultural shows throughout the year conducted at the behest of the CSK (Changampuzha Samsarika Kendram). The park named after the great Malayalam poet Changampuzha Krishna Pillai, is situated at his birthplace of Edappally. You can find his statue here and a green oasis amidst the hustle and bustle of the city which is open to old and young alike. Maintained by the GCDA (Greater Cochin Development Authority), the two acre park plays host to Kathakali performances, movie screenings, workshops, vocal concerts and the like. Citizens enjoy the open air theater. The society conducts regular festivals throughout the year and intermediate programs that help nurture our cultural heritage. It is also a partner venue of the Kochi Muziris Biennale.
