It's not every day that you get to witness something supernatural or something beyond our reasoning. Nipin Niravath, a famous mentalist from Kerala, took the audience at JTPac on a journey of illusions, magic, and science. “Mentalism is a science. It is also magic. Mentalism is about creating illusions,” he said.

The audience at JTPac were spooked to see how Nipin was able to guess the numbers or names the audience had written down or imagined in their head. Starting from reading a case diary of a murder that happened in the 1980s to find out the soul of the murderer was with Neethu Elsa Alexander ( one of the audience). The show was full of surprises and wonders.

Neethu, one of the members of the audience, said about her experience, “I am still trying to figure out what has happened and I'm still spooked about the whole event from the start when the ball he threw to the crowd came to me. When he wrote down the name of my childhood friend whom I was thinking of at that moment, I was surprised, but not as spooked and shocked when my birth date was written down in that blank slate with some supernatural powers.”

Nipin says, “I always have a script for my shows, but the methods and my routines change according to the audience. Mentalism is mainly about observing and executing and that's what I do with my audience everywhere.”
